Introduction

anim8 respects the intellectual property rights of others. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we will respond promptly to notices of alleged infringement that are reported to our designated agent. Since our app allows users to create custom AI characters and upload avatars, we take copyright seriously.

Reporting Infringement

If you are a copyright owner or an agent thereof and believe that any content in the anim8 simulation infringes upon your copyrights, you may submit a notification. Your request must include:

• A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
• Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
• Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing (such as a character preset ID or a specific handle).
• Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact you, such as an address, telephone number, and email.
• A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized.
• A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner.

Counter Notification

If you believe your content was removed by mistake, you may send us a counter notice. We will review the request and, if appropriate, restore the content unless the original complaining party files a court action. Repeatedly uploading infringing material will result in a permanent ban from the grid.

App Store Versions

If you are using the app via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, we also comply with their specific copyright dispute mechanisms. However, sending the notice directly to us is the fastest way to have content removed from the global simulation.
